WOODBRIDGE, NJ November 5, 2015- NORTHFIELD BANCORP, INC. (NasdaqGS:NFBK), the holding company for Northfield Bank, was recently recognized with a Corporate Board Gender Diversity Award by the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ).

The Executive Women of New Jersey presented the award on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at their A Seat at the Table networking breakfast. The event recognized and saluted New Jersey public companies with women on their boards and in executive leadership and presented the Gender Diversity Awards to companies with three or more women directors.

EWNJ was founded in 1980 and is the only senior-level executive women's organization in New Jersey that is devoted to increasing the presence of women serving on corporate boards and in executive leadership positions.
