The event will highlight the expansion of a relationship established between the two to further education, research and recruitment.

Northrop Grumman and the University have successfully collaborated on a diverse set of activities in support of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in the past. This event marks a more formalized collaborative relationship that will expand and strengthen these efforts into new areas.

One of the key goals of the Northrop Grumman/University of Alabama in Huntsville partnership is to bolster the workforce in the Huntsville area through a renewed engagement in STEM education. It will also support various research and development initiatives vital to government and industry. Dedicated teams will be working together to investigate future areas of collaboration to include cyber, systems engineering and modeling and simulation.

For decades, research and recruitment collaborations with middle schools, high schools and universities have been a key part of Northrop Grumman's innovation and talent strategies.
