NorthWestern : Heidi Hockett Joins NorthWestern in Great Falls as Manager, Community Relations

Butte, Mont. - May 24, 2017 - NorthWestern Energy has named Heidi Hockett manager, Community Relations in its Great Falls division. She will replace Scott Patera, who plans to retire in June after nearly 38 years with the utility company.
'Heidi brings valuable experience to her new role as manager, Community Relations,'' said Claudia Rapkoch, director, Corporate Communications at NorthWestern Energy. 'Our extensive electric operations, coupled with the five hydroelectric dams, make Great Falls and the surrounding communities a key part of our operations in Montana. Heidi is a great fit in our efforts to work with customers and the communities in the Great Falls division.'
Hockett recently worked in Wyoming as a public relations manager for Basin Electric Power Cooperative and as a manager of external affairs/community relations for Cloud Peak Energy. Hockett also has extensive experience in social services, working with the disabled, youth and families.
She holds a master's degree in business management from the University of Mary and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Weber State University.
Hockett will work on variety of community and local government relations activities in NorthWestern's Great Falls division. The division includes nearly 47,180 electric and 14,800 natural-gas customers in an area that stretches from Choteau east to Glasgow, including Great Falls and Havre. She will be based in NorthWestern's division office in Great Falls.
