GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 28, 2015) - Nouveau Monde Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NOU)(OTC PINK:NMGRF)(FRANKFURT:NM9) is pleased to report preliminary results of the helicopter-borne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic survey performed over the south-eastern extension of the Hotel claim block, part of the Matawinie Property. This block is located about 130 km north of Montreal and only a few kilometers to the south-west of the community of St-Michel-des-Saints. The survey, covering an area of about 36 km2, was performed on May 23rd and 26th by Prospectair Geosurveys of Gatineau using the ProspecTEM system which led to several significant discoveries on the Matawinie Property.

A figure of the preliminary results is available at the following link: http://www.nouveaumonde.ca/documents/matawinie/2014_Trench_HBlock_20150527_V6.pdf

The survey aimed at mapping the south-east continuation of conductors detected in late 2013 which follow-up ground prospecting work carried out during the summer and fall of 2014 showed to be directly associated with significant graphite mineralization over 5% Cg. A preliminary interpretation of the recent survey suggests that four sub-parallel conductors striking SE-NW in the NE part of the block are fused to form a single, wide (up to 500 m in width) conductor striking ENE-WSW and extending over 3 km in the SE. This major conductor is a high-priority target and is interpreted as being a tightly folded structure which could display repetition and thickening of a potential mineralized zone.

It is important to mention that all conductors investigated thus far on the Hotel claim block are associated with graphite mineralization as can be seen on the geophysical results image which shows the location, as well as a summary of trench/channel sampling and significant grab sampling results obtained in 2014 (see September 23rd 2014 press release). The metallurgical results obtained by SGS Lakefield on material collected in the area are also considered to be exceptional considering that the graphite concentrate produced during that test is composed of 68% of large flake (+ 100 mesh) including 30% that is in the jumbo flake category (+48 mesh) with an average grade of 98.2% in carbon (see October 22nd 2014 press release).

Nouveau Monde's exploration team is to mobilize on June 1st to investigate the zones of interest revealed by the recent airborne survey. Following the reception of analytical results from the prospecting program and the determination of the sectors with the best potential on the 12 km long conductor, an extensive trenching and drilling campaign is planned on the Hotel claim block with the ultimate goal of defining an NI 43-101 compliant resource.
