Reviewers are describing our new GeForce GTX 1070 GPU as as an ideal mix of price, performance, and power consumption, in a series of technical reviews that began rolling in over the weekend.

Introduced earlier this month at the DreamHack gamer gathering in Austin, Texas, the GeForce GTX 1070 - and the GeForce GTX 1080 - are the first gaming GPUs based on our new Pascal architecture.

Both bring unparalleled performance within reach of more gamers than ever before. The result: reviewers are showering the GeForce GTX 1070 with endorsements.

  • PC World : 'NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1070 is one hell of a graphics card, delivering Titan X-level performance at a price real gamers can afford,' they wrote. 'The GeForce GTX 1070 is a prince worthy of a royal reception.'
  • Computer Shopper: 'The GTX 1070 offers more bang for your gaming buck than any GPU we've tested'
  • HARD | OCP: 'NVIDIA has created a highly compelling video card for the masses looking for the best gameplay experience,' they wrote. 'The GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition is likely to go down as a major value in terms of balance of performance, features, power efficiency and pricing.'
  • Tom's Hardware: 'GeForce GTX 1070 is faster than the company's fastest Maxwell-based solution at a price point less than half of what a Titan X still sells for.'
  • Tweaktown : 'There's nothing that doesn't impress with the GeForce GTX 1070.'
  • Polygo n: 'This is a slick piece of tech - a quiet beast of a graphics card that delivers more for less in almost every way possible,' they wrote. 'This is a significant leap in technology.'
