Vehicle-to-X Communication

  • Working with Econolite, a leading transportation solution provider and manufacturer of advanced traffic controllers, the NXP connected car demos highlight connectivity between traffic lights, NXP/Cohda road side units and an electrical motorbike from Zero. Use Cases like Road Works Warnings, In-vehicle signage, Signal Phase Timing and many more will be demonstrated
  • This demo will showcase how passenger vehicles will soon be able to communicate with each other and surrounding infrastructure such as traffic lights, road works and hazard warnings to improve overall safety
  • The Connected Car transmits and receives huge amounts of data from various locations around the car. Increasingly powerful, sophisticated and versatile entertainment systems and data-intensive systems like Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) fuel the requirement for more and more components inside the vehicle to communicate.
