Oji Holdings Corporation would like to announce that it has concluded a sponsorship agreement with Yoko Maeda, a member of The Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of Japan (LPGA).
1. Background and objective of the sponsorship agreement
Ms. Maeda worked at an Oji Group company for nine years from 2004 until 2013, and was sponsored by a number of other Oji Group companies last year as a result of this connection. The Oji Group as a whole now wishes to support Ms. Maeda's activities as a professional golfer even more than it has in the past leading to this sponsorship agreement, and Ms. Maeda will play wearing the logo of Nepia, Oji Group's household products brand. In addition to having high hopes for Ms. Maeda's success this season, Oji Holdings Corporation and Oji Group aim to increase Oji brand awareness through its sponsorship of her.
