Olympus Corporation specializes in manufacturing and marketing of optical and photographic equipments. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- medical equipments (53.1%): surgical endoscopes, ultrasound endoscopes, etc.;
- medical devices (31.7%): medical devices for gastroenterology, urology, respiratory management, ENT and gynecology;
- scientific analysis instruments and microscopes (13.7%);
- other (1.5%): biomedical materials, orthopedic equipment, etc.
