FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fort Lauderdale-based Zimmerman Advertising has realigned its leadership team and appointed a new president as part of its strategy to become the strongest retail agency on the planet.

Zimmerman CEO Michael Goldberg announced today that David Kissell, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, has been named President. Kissell replaces Andrew Varga, who recently left the agency. Goldberg also announced several other changes to the leadership team.

"Our mission is to grow retail brands. To make that happen, this realignment puts the right people in vital positions at the perfect time in our agency's evolution," said Goldberg. "I am truly proud of the remarkable talent and bench strength we have throughout this organization, and that we were able to realign the leadership team with our existing leaders."

Goldberg selected a leadership team that has a shared vision of responsibility and purpose, but also the operational proficiency to handle the intense speed, agility and metrics that are required to succeed in retail.

"This is part of the growth plan we had in mind when we brought Michael back to run the agency," said Jordan Zimmerman, Founder and Chairman. "Michael is a great leader and the all-star team he has surrounded himself with has decades of combined retail experience. I've never been more confident about our strong future and our ability to become the best retail advertising agency on the planet."
