LONDON, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global public relations leader Porter Novelli announced Steve Loynes has joined the agency as director and head of the UK technology practice. Loynes will report to Fenella Grey, managing director, UK and Rich Cline, senior partner and head of Porter Novelli's global technology practice.

Loynes will play an important role in the agency's rapidly expanding technology practice. He will also be responsible for driving continued growth for the technology practice in the EMEA region, with a strong focus on the UK.

Prior to Porter Novelli, Loynes served as managing director, technology at Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK and managing director at Chameleon PR. He has also worked in-house at Cambridge Technology Partners and Novell and with clients including Alstom Power, BT, Citrix, Hitachi Data Systems, Intel, Microsoft, Motorola, Orange and Siemens.
