OneMain : Financial Partners with Operation Homefront to Support Veterans and Military Families

Guarantees 50k to the Organization Between a 25k Donation and a 25k Social Media Donation Drive

EVANSVILLE, IN- November 10, 2017- OneMain Financial announced today its partnership with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable and secure military families. OneMain's donation to Operation Homefront seeks to further their mission to support wounded warriors and military families in the communities they've worked so hard to protect.

Throughout the month of November, OneMain will be increasing awareness for Operation Homefront and their mission through a cause marketing campaign on their social media channels. With the goal of raising up to $26,000, OneMain will donate $3 per action (like, reaction, comment, etc.) they receive on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram posts mentioning Operation Homefront now through November 30. Limit one action per post per person. To further their support, OneMain's foundation will donate an additional $25,000 to Operation Homefront's Critical Financial Assistance Program. This program assists military families with crucial financial obligations, such as mortgage payments, rent, utilities, car and home repairs, overdue bills, baby supplies and groceries.

In addition to the donations and social media campaign, OneMain will also conduct a holiday gift card drive at their corporate sites in Evansville, IN, Baltimore, MD, Wilmington, DE, Chicago, IL, London, KY, Fort Mill, SC, Mendota Heights, MN, Irving, TX and Tempe, AZ. With the help of Operation Homefront, OneMain employees will donate gift cards and thank you notes which will be delivered to various military bases during the holiday season.

To further engage these students, OneMain will have their veteran team members serve as mentors, offering them guidance in adjusting to the business world through mock interviews, resume assistance and financial literacy lessons.
