Outsourcing of Logistics Operation

ONO PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. (Head Office: Osaka City, President and Representative Director: Gyo Sagara;"ONO") announced today that ONO will outsource all of its logistics operation currently operated by ONO to S.D. Collabo Co.,Ltd (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Hirofumi Tanaka: "S.D. Collabo" ) from January, 2016.
ONO has practiced its logistics operation at two own distribution centers, Central Distribution Center (Nishinomiya City, Hyogo) and East Japan Distribution Center (Toda City, Saitama) so far.
ONO reviews the logistics system to have the flexible responses to the change of internal and external logistic environment and decided to outsource all of its logistics operation for the following purposes.

・The reduction of logistics cost

・Strengthening of the enhancement for GDP ( Good Distribution Practice ) aimed at the more stable supply and the improved quality more furtherly, including the establishment of the network of the cold chain logistics requiring high-precision temperature control

Concretely, ONO will outsource all of its logistics operation to two logistics centers of S.D. Collabo, one is in Saitama and the other one is in Hyogo from January, 2016.
ONO is committed to strengthen the more stable supply of its ethical pharmaceuticals and contributes to our society through the further improvement of service quality in logistics operation.
