Reference to our previous letters regarding the case of passing international calls misdemeanor economic No. 204 for the year 2012, and reference to the civil compensation suit filed by TE against Orange Egypt requesting compensation for the value of the losses suffered as a result of the passing of international calls.

We would like to inform you that the Cairo Economic Court had ruled obliging it to pay all amounts required by TE consisting of material and moral compensation valued at EGP 49 million (forty nine million Egyptian pounds) of what it incurred in loss of profits as a result of passing of the international calls.

As the company is always stressing on its confidence and full respect for the provisions of the Egyptian judiciary, it is at the same time expressing its complete trust and confidence in the safety of its legal position, and therefore the company will take all the necessary legal procedures and measures towards the appeal on this ruling, noting that we shall remain committed to inform you with any update in this regard.
