an unrivalled experience, on all your screens

Two breakthroughs provide particularly clear-cut examples of this show's themes. The Polaris project provides a new unified interface and services on every screen and for everyone in the family. It is now easy to retrieve your content (VOD, games, music), choices and preferences, in a clear and intuitive universe. You can start watching a film or series on your television set and finish it on your tablet or smartphone, and vice-versa. We see Orange boutiques as essential points of contact, and have entirely redesigned them, specifically to feature innovation, boost efficiency and enhance convenience. These new concept stores will be opening soon in Poland, Spain, Romania and then France. They will lead into themed areas dedicated to people's "Home", "Office" and even "Entertainment", where customers will find all the help they need and be welcome to explore a selection of trailblazing products and services.

Orange supports the proliferation of connected objects with an open innovation drive

Connected objects are appearing everywhere in our new digital lives - and provide one of Orange's key development prospects.
Orange Datavenue will enable connected-object manufacturers and service developers to gather, aggregate, secure and store data. When it goes live in November 2014, this platform will allow partner manufacturers and developers to merge data from a variety of sources (open data, corporate big data, connected objects, etc.) and build a virtuous ecosystem around it, to bring consenting users an ever greater choice of next-generation services.
Orange partners can also connect objects on the move with its Pops module. Pops runs on mobile networks using Orange's M2M platforms, and blends seamlessly into all kinds of accessories and garments. Pops is already available in sportswear - for example in the D-shirts (digital shirts) from Cityzen Sciences, which has developed a smart fabric with micro-sensors woven into it to measure the wearer's physical and physiological data. Quiksilver has also chosen Orange and its Pops technology for its connected wristband that sends surfers weather forecasts or alerts even when they leave their smartphones on the shore.
Homelive will be adding an entirely new dimension to smart-home convenience with an unparalleled solution to put your home at your fingertips when you are out. You will be able to adjust the settings on your thermostat, light switches, noise, movement and smoke detectors, and other systems, as you wish, wherever you are.

mobile banking solutions and connected classrooms: two growth opportunities

In the banking sector, Orange is enhancing its Orange Money transfer services with a
cash-to-goods feature it is providing through a partnership with Afrimarket, a start-up. In practice, this means that you can now transfer money from Europe to a partner retailer in Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Togo or Benin. It is a straightforward, instant and risk-free system to pay for groceries for your parents, school supplies for your niece and countless other purchases. Polish smartphone users can now enjoy Orange Finanse, the banking solution for all digital natives who want to manage their account from their phones. They can deposit and transfer funds, pay via NFC, refund friends mobile-to-mobile and use many other handy features, which are already available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone systems.

in the field of education, Orange is supporting the shift towards digital schools

L'école numérique d'Orange brings teachers and students tablets linked to online educational content and the classroom video projector. This turnkey solution is reshaping educational tools and resources. And, besides supplying the equipment, Orange trains teachers, provides a learner-friendly environment in the cloud and runs a support hotline.
We built this ground-breaking solution through a partnership with Milliweb, Maskott, Canopé and the French Education Ministry 's documentation centre.

Homepoint is the essential design accessory for today's homes

Orange created and designed Homepoint, the highlight in the 2014 showroom. Homepoint is a genuine multimedia hub for your content, provides secure access to everyone connected, and is geared to become a central feature in your home. It is pioneering a user-friendly all-in-one concept combining three appealing amenities: a touch button to allow your guests to access a dedicated Wi-Fi network, another to play music from your smartphone on your hi-fi - including old models - and yet another to recharge all your devices easily and simultaneously (with USB cables or inductive pads).

the hello show's all-new staging and 4G technology

The hello show is also a venue for technological and artistic performance. At the end of this third show, two dancers - a woman and a man - wearing 30 motion capture sensors shaped the plethora of images broadcast on a variety of screens in real time. For the first time, a drone fitted with an HD camera and flown via a 4G connection also broadcast real-time aerial footage of the creation unfolding on the stage.
Original soundtrack: Saycet "Her Movie" - Dancers: Fanny Sage and Olivier Mathieu
