Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom Development) will hold its 5th
Annual General Meeting on Monday, 13 May 2013, at 3:00 p.m. CEST (doors
open at 2:00 p.m. CEST) at Theater Uri, Schützengasse 11, 6460 Altdorf,
Switzerland. The attached document includes the invitation along with the
agenda of the Annual General Meeting.
Luciano Gabriel whose term ends at the 2013 Annual General Meeting decided
not to stand for re-election. At the upcoming Annual General Meeting the
Board of Directors proposes the re-election of all other board members for
a one-year term of office. Further, the Board of Directors proposes that
Marco Sieber and Dr. Eskandar Tooma be elected as new members of the Board
of Directors for a one-year term of office until the Annual General Meeting
in 2014.
Curriculum Vitae - Dr. Eskandar Tooma
Dr. Eskandar Tooma, age 35, Candian-Egytian double citizen, is a tenured
professor of finance, chair of the finance department and holds the British
Petroleum endowed chair with the School of Business at The American
University in Cairo. He combines academic experience with practical
exposure through assuming a variety of public and private professional
posts. He was senior advisor to the Egyptian Capital Market Authority for 3
years, as well as a member of a variety of committees. Dr. Tooma sits on
the board of two EGX listed and actively traded companies: Egyptian Resorts
Company (ERC) and Rowad Tourism. He also heads the Audit Committee for ERC.
Dr. Tooma obtained his B.A. in Business from The American University in
Cairo and Adelphi University. He holds two M.S. degrees, the first in
Finance and the second in International Economics from Adelphi and Brandeis
Universities as well as a Ph.D. in Finance from Brandeis University.
Curriculum Vitae - Marco Sieber
Marco Sieber, age 54, Swiss citizen, has a degree in business
administration from the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University
of Lausanne. Since 1982 Marco Sieber has been CEO of SIGA Holding AG,
Ruswil, which develops and manufactures materials for the sealing of
building envelopes. A medium-sized company, SIGA manufactures its products
in Switzerland and - with an export share of 80% - is active in 13
countries. SIGA has a workforce of approximately 250 employees. Since 2012,
Marco Sieber has been co-owner and Chairman of Baertschi Agrartecnic AG,
Hüswil. Baertschi develops and manufactures agricultural machinery for
sustainably higher agricultural yields (Perma-Agrartecnic). From 2005-2012,
Marco Sieber was a member of the Board of the listed Uzin Utz AG, Ulm,
Germany. Marco Sieber is married and a resident of Horw, canton Lucerne.
