Change in ORIOR AG's Management Board

Bruno de Gennaro, a member of the Management Board of ORIOR Group, will step down from his position as CEO of the Convenience segment and head of the competence centre Fredag at the end of June 2017. ORIOR is very pleased that it will still be able to rely on his services and know-how in the future. Bruno de Gennaro will become the director of ORIOR's pension fund and will also perform special tasks at the request of the Group CEO Daniel Lutz.

Bruno de Gennaro has played an important role in the development of ORIOR Group during his more than 22 years of service in a variety of senior positions. Bruno de Gennaro joined the company in 1994 as Rapelli's marketing and sales director and soon assumed that same role for the entire ORIOR Group. Three years later, in 1997, the Management Board appointed him head of Fredag Group. In 1998 he was assigned management responsibility for Rapelli SA and was concurrently appointed to the Management Board of ORIOR AG. He successfully led this highly traditional Ticino firm for the next 13 years before assuming management responsibility for the strategically important Convenience segment with its three competence centres Fredag, Pastinella and Le Patron. From June 2014 until January 2015 Bruno de Gennaro also managed the entire ORIOR Group as CEO ad interim.

The Board of Directors, the Management Board and all employees thank Bruno de Gennaro for his long-standing loyalty and tireless efforts. A truly talented manager, Bruno de Gennaro is leaving a distinctive mark on ORIOR Group in terms of continuity and strong identification with the company.

The successor to Bruno de Gennaro will be communicated in due time.
