Orkla is one of the leading Norwegian industrial groups. Net sales (including intragroup) by family of product break down as follows:
- specialty products (59.4%): notably aluminium, silicone, foundry products, building materials (concrete, tile, etc.), ceramics and sections. The group is also involved in electricity production;
- food and consumer products (40%): food (pizzas, sauces, seafood, prepared meals, fruits, chocolates, ingredients, delicatessen products, etc.) and consumer products (detergents, clothing, cosmetics, personal hygiene, etc.);
- investment services (0.6%): portfolio management, institutional and private investments, and real estate portfolio development.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Norway (17.8%), Sweden (12.4%), Denmark (4.9%), Finland and Ireland (3.2%), Europe (35.4%), Americas (19.8%), Asia (6.3%) and other (0.2%).
