Outokumpu appoints Liam Bates President and Head of Business Area Quarto Plate

Outokumpu announced today the appointment of Liam Bates as the President and Head of Business Area Quarto Plate and member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team as of November 5, 2015. Liam has been leading the Quarto Plate operations in Europe and the production unit in Degerfors, Sweden since September 2014. Prior to that, he has held several senior management positions in the company. He will report to the CEO and will succeed Kari Parvento who has decided to leave Outokumpu to pursue new opportunities.
