Africa Australia Technical (AAT) Mining Conference 2015

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australian companies hold about 40% of Africa's internationally owned mining projects, Today, this includes 650 mines and exploration projects, worth more than $40 billion. Acknowledging this, AusIMM, (The Australian Institute of Mining and Minerals) in collaboration with the University of Adelaide is hosting the inaugural Africa Australia Technical Mining Conference 2015. The conference will be at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 11-12 June 2015.

The AAT conference will provide a stage for a broad range of technical topics to be presented by industry experts. Speakers aim to showcase the role of technology in optimising efficiency. The conference also aims to build a bridge between Australian and African mining industries, both are experiencing similar market changes.

In line with the conference theme, 'bridging the technology divide through collaboration', Pacific Environment will be represented by our General Manager of Technologies, Chaim Kolominskas. The title of Chaim's talk is 'Technology as a Driver for Efficiency in Environmental Management - Case Studies from Australia's Mining Industry'. He will be showcasing examples of predictive environmental management through case studies where Pacific Environment's EnviroSuite technology played a large part in maximising operational efficiency and limiting downtime.

During break periods between speaking sessions of the conference, Chaim will be located at the EnviroSuite booth to answer any questions about EnviroSuite's features.
