SAN JOSE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 18, 2016 / Pacific Green Technologies Technical Services Limited, ("PGTTS") a subsidiary of Pacific Green Technologies Inc. ("the Company") (OTCQB: PGTK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Larry Zeng ("Zeng") as Senior Engineer for Asia.

Zeng joins PGTTS at a key point following the impending commissioning of the Company's project in China at a 93MWe steelworks in Jiangsu Province in China. The project is the first project under the commercial joint venture agreement (JV) with POWERCHINA SPEM Co., Limited ("PCS"). PCS is a leading Chinese power equipment manufacturer and a subsidiary of POWERCHINA, the largest power plant equipment manufacturer in the People's Republic of China ("PRC").

Zeng comes to PGTTS from his role as Senior Process Engineer at Bantrel-Esso Alliance in Edmonton Canada and Zeng's key role will be to manage PGTTS's responsibilities in the rollout of projects that emanate from the JV with PCS in the PRC.

Zeng is fluent in English and Chinese having graduated from Hunan University and Zhengzhou Institute of Technology in China followed by a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. He has been a Professional Engineer since 2002 and has published more than 40 technical reports on chemical and environmental engineering.
