(NASDAQ: PPBI), the holding company of Pacific Premier Bank, announced today that it will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index before the open of trading on Thursday, October 12, 2017, according to a press release issued by S&P Dow Jones Indices on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

The S&P SmallCap 600 Index measures the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity market. The index is designed to track companies that meet specific inclusion criteria to ensure that they are liquid and financially viable.
