Company Padiberas Nasional Berhad

Padiberas Nasional Berhad is engaged in procuring, collecting, processing, importing, exporting, purchasing, storing, packaging, distribution of rice, paddy and other grains. The Company's businesses include paddy procurement and rice processing, rice importation and rice distribution, national stockpile management, seed and farming, paddy price subsidy management and buyer of last resort at Guaranteed Minimum Price (GMP), bumiputera rice miller scheme management and supply and maintenance of rice. The Company has around 32 commercial rice mills, which are owned and operated by it. The Company's rice mills are located mainly in the major granary areas of Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Seberang Perak and Kuala Selangor.
