VOD platform PANTAFLIX and Disney announce extensive cooperation agreement for content distribution
Munich, 27 November 2017 - PANTAFLIX AG and Disney Germany have today signed a cooperation contract which will further expand the video on demand platform PANTAFLIX in form of a content agreement. Starting with the cooperation's commencement in the first quarter of 2018, PANTAFLIX will add movies to its offer in Germany and Austria by Disney, the largest and most valuable entertainment company worldwide by market capitalization. Further territories and Major Studios will follow in the coming months. The extensive rights package will include all current success franchises such as "STAR WARS" or "Pirates of the Caribbean" and will also include "STAR WARS - The Last Jedi" which is set to premiere in mid-December as well as a comprehensive Disney film library consisting of, amongst many others, global blockbusters by Marvel such as "Captain America" and family entertainment like "Frozen" or Disney·Pixar's "Finding Dory" which all grossed more than 1 billion US-dollars globally at the box office.
