Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE:PKE) announced that Don Burns has been appointed to the position of Applications and Technical Service Engineer for the Company. Don will report to Bob Nurmi, the Company’s Vice President of Sales – Americas.

In this position as Applications and Technical Service Engineer, Don is rejoining Park Electrochemical Corp. after his early retirement in June 2014. Prior to his retirement, Don had been Technical Sales Engineer of Park Electrochemical Corp. from 2006 to June 2014 and Senior Technical Services Engineer of Nelco Products, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Park Electrochemical Corp., from 1992 to 2006. Prior to joining the Company in 1992, he was a Technical Service Representative for Olin Hunt Specialty Products in Los Angeles, California from 1985 to 1992, a Process Engineer in 1984 and 1985 and a Laboratory Technician from 1979 to 1983 with National Technology in Irvine, California and a Chemical Technician with the New Mexico Bureau of Mines in 1978. Don received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from New Mexico Institute of Technology in Socorro, New Mexico.
