Parmalat is a food processing group organized around 4 families of products:
- milk (59.2% of sales; No. 1 in Italy): condensed and powdered milk, cream, etc. (Parmalat and Zymil brands);
- fresh dairy products (32.1%): yogurts, cheese, butter, ice creams, etc. (Kyr, Ice Break and Physical and Smarter Milk);
- beverages (6.2%): juices, nectars, tea, etc. (Santal, Parmalat, Zymil, Fibresse, etc.);
- other (2.5%).
At the end of 2011, the group had 69 production sites worldwide.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Italy (21.7%), Europe (3.5%), Canada (36.2%), Americas (10.2%), Australia (19.2%) and Africa (9.2%).
