Parmalat : Share allotment

Parmalat S.p.A. communicates that, following the allocation of shares to creditors of the
Parmalat Group, the subscribed and fully paid up share capital has now been increased by
1,606,979 euros to 1,833,062,336 euros (of which 1,766,774,128 shares and 66,288,208 shares deriving from the exercise of warrants) from 1,831,455,357 euros. The share capital increase is due to the exercise of 1,193,850 warrant and to the allocation of 413,129 shares.
Lastly, in relation to the share capital the latest status is as follows:

 3,748,174 shares or 0.2% of the share capital are still in a deposit account at Parmalat

S.p.A., registered in the name of individually identified commercial creditors;

 2,049,096 or 0.1% of the share capital, in the company's disposal, as treasury shares.
