Patterson : Fulfillment Center employees complete annual product quality control training and testing

May 13, 2016 (ST. PAUL, Minn.) - Patterson Companies (Nasdaq: PDCO) today announced that employees at its 11 Fulfillment Centers (FCs) across the United States recently completed product quality and training programs. The programs are conducted annually by FC managers at each facility and cover such topics as FDA regulations, licensing, warehousing controlled substances like pharmaceuticals, and more.

In addition to quality control content, managers share good manufacturing practices. These best practices help protect employees on the fulfillment floor, as well as the equipment used for handling, packing and sorting products.

When employees complete their training, they take an exam and must pass, or be required to attend further training, retake and pass the exam.

Fulfillment Centers are part of the Patterson Logistics Services, Inc. (PLSI) division of the Patterson Companies business. In Fiscal 2015, PLSI shipped more than 9 million packages to customers, an increase of more than 215,000 packages over Fiscal 2014.
