May 6, 2016 (ST. PAUL, Minn.) - Patterson Companies (Nasdaq: PDCO) announced it is one of 10 organizations sponsoring the American Red Cross Minnesota Region's Heroes Breakfast today.

The Heroes Breakfast was established in an effort to raise public awareness of local heroes and volunteers who carry out the mission of the Red Cross every day in local communities. Since 2008, the American Red Cross of Minnesota has celebrated extraordinary individuals who have made a personal commitment to creating safer and strong communities, and providing help when disaster strikes.

This year, the American Red Cross of Minnesota will be honoring community heroes in six categories from across the state. Other sponsors include Land O'Lakes, U.S. Bank, CHS and other well-known Minnesota companies.
