PATTERSON COMPANIES, INC. April 18, 2016 (ST. PAUL, Minn.) - Patterson Companies (Nasdaq: PDCO) today announced it has received placement on the Honor Roll for the 2015 Minnesota Census of Women in Corporate Leadership. The honor roll is produced by St. Catherine University School of Business and Professional Studies and the Minnesota Women's Economic Roundtable (MWER).
At the Women in Leadership Forum sponsored by Twin Cities Business magazine and St. Catherine's, Patterson Companies CFO Ann Gugino accepted the award on behalf of
the company. "We are proud of our achievements advancing women in leadership," Gugino said. "It is a priority across Patterson to find ways to support our talented employees and help them grow, as well as attract new leaders that bring greater diversity, experience and insights into our organization."
Joann Bangs, Dean, St. Catherine University School of Business and Professional Studies, noted improvements in 2015 over 2014 but acknowledged that progress still needs to be made across all 100 companies surveyed in the census. "Women now hold 15.5 percent of the board seats and 19.4 percent of the executive officer positions. While this progress is great to see, there is still a long way to go," Bangs said. "We still have 20 [Minnesota-based] companies with no women on their board and no women executive officers."
Patterson Companies and 15 other Minnesota-based companies earned Honor Roll status for a corporate board with at least 20 percent women and an executive team with at least 20 percent women officers. In 2015, Patterson had 33.3 percent women directors and
25 percent women executive officers.
Of the 16 companies placed on the honor roll, Bangs said, "We are very pleased to see every one of these companies on our honor roll. We hope each year to see more and more companies attaining this level of women in top leadership roles."

Already in 2016, Patterson continues to increase the diversity of its board and executive team. Currently, women now account for 37 percent of Patterson's corporate board and 33 percent of its executive officers are women.
