PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a leader in Performance Critical Telecom solutions, announced that Jeff Miller has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Sales. The promotion expands Miller’s scope from his current global Connected Solutions sales to include RF Solutions Group sales for all products in the Americas. The RF Solutions Group includes PCTEL's engineering services, its new Meridian™ network analytics platform, and its scanning receiver product line – notably the IBflex®.

"Jeff has done an outstanding job recruiting and training the Connected Solutions sales force. The company needs his energy and leadership in promoting our new Meridian platform, macro-engineering services, and our traditional scanning receiver product line," said Marty Singer, PCTEL's Chairman and CEO. "Jeff’s leadership of both sales organizations will allow David Neumann and Rishi Bharadwaj, our two general managers, to focus on advancing our products and services and operational efficiency," added Singer.

Mr. Miller earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. Jeff has performed a number of roles at PCTEL since November 2001. Recently, Jeff was responsible for global sales for Connected Solutions. Prior to that Jeff was responsible for PCTEL's antenna business. Jeff has previously been responsible for PCTEL's global sales, business development, and licensing programs as well as leading engineering and development activities. Jeff started his career at Motorola and spent 14 years at Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Group in a number of technical and management roles. Singer and Miller, along with John Schoen, David Neumann, Rishi Bharadwaj, and other PCTEL executives, led SAFCO Technologies, a leader in cellular test and measurement. The team rapidly built SAFCO and then sold the company to Agilent Technologies in 2000. Miller has worked in the industry for more than 35 years and was instrumental in the systems engineering of the UK’s Cellnet, which was at that time the world’s largest cellular network.

"PCTEL has valuable customer relationships across all business units," said Jeff Miller, PCTEL's Senior Vice President, Global Sales. "Combining the management of the America’s sales forces will allow us to identify and exploit synergies in these relationships, benefitting PCTEL as well as our customers as we engage with them in a broader dialog," added Miller.
