NET SALES AS OF MARCH 31, 2018

PCAS (Euronext Paris: PCA), a specialist in developing and producing complex molecules for life sciences and innovative technologies, has announced the publication of its consolidated net sales as of March 31, 2018.

The PCAS Group had generated consolidated net sales of €46.4 million as of March 31, 2018, representing a decrease of 22.8% compared to the same period of the previous financial year (-20.6% at a constant exchange rate).

Pharmaceutical Synthesis

The Pharmaceutical Synthesis business generated €27.8 million, down 34.9% from 2017, particularly due to the high sales in the first quarter of 2017, lower production availability in 2018, and the offsetting of key projects, the sales of which will be distributed across the next few months.

Fine Specialty Chemicals
Net sales of Fine Specialty Chemicals totaled €18.6 million, up 6.7% on 2017, with growth in both Performance Additives (Lubricants) and Advanced Specialty Chemicals, particularly for the micro-electronics sector.

Outlook

In 2018, the Group's net sales are expected to show modest growth. However, the Group income may be noticeably affected if the euro/USD exchange rate were to remain at the current level.
