MAYS LANDING, N.J. (June 9, 2016) - Atlantic City Electric (ACE) is working around the clock as safely and quickly as possible to restore the remaining customers that lost power due to the severe thunderstorms that affected the company's service territory Wednesday afternoon.

In addition to internal crews, ACE has overhead line contractors and crews from its sister utility Pepco assisting in the restoration effort.

Approximately 500 customers remain without service in the hardest hit areas of Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. Most of these customers will be restored tonight and the remaining few are expected to be restored by 12 noon Friday. Crews are working diligently to repair the electric infrastructure damaged by the storm in order to provide power to the remaining customers without service. Since the onset of the storm, ACE crews have restored service to about 33,000 customers.

Customers are encouraged to view the status of their outage and estimated time of restoration by visiting atlanticcityelectric.com or through our mobile app, available for download at atlanticcityelectric.com/mobileapp.
