WASHINGTON D.C. - Pepco Holdings, Inc. is pleased to
announce today that Chairman of the Board, President and
Chief Executive Officer Joseph M. Rigby will be presented
with the 2012 Corporate Leadership Award by Boys & Girls
Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW) at the 27th Annual Tim
Russert Congressional Dinner. The award recognizes
PHI's commitment to corporate responsibility and
community service.
Luke Russert, Correspondent for NBC News and son of the
late Tim Russert, will emcee the award ceremony May 3 at
the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.
" Boys & Girls Clubs Corporate Leadership award is a
wonderful recognition of the efforts of Pepco Holdings and
its employees to improve the quality of life for youth in
the metropolitan Washington area," Rigby said.

roots, has been a proud supporter of the BGCGW for the past
18 years.

The first Congressional Dinner was held in 1986 to
commemorate BGCGW's 100 years of continuous service to
youth. The Dinner serves as an opportunity to pay tribute
to local and national leaders who have demonstrated a
strong commitment and investment in our future by making
significant contributions to the youth served by BGCGW.
Past Congressional Dinner honorees have included Secretary
of State Colin Powell; Vice President Al Gore; Sen. Susan
Collins (R-Maine), Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah); Congresswoman
Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), Congressman Steny H. Hoyer
