Perion (NASDAQ: PERI) (TASE: PERI) announced today that it has partnered with Lenovo to build a new program called Lenovo Browser Guard that will be pre-installed on select Lenovo laptops, PCs and tablets beginning in the second quarter of 2014.

Perion designed and developed Lenovo Browser Guard according to Lenovo's specifications.

"We are extremely proud that our technology has been selected by Lenovo to help power its first native browser protection tool," said Amir Nahmias, Vice President of Business Partnerships, Perion Codefuel. "Our solution equips Lenovo with the ability to provide its customers enhanced protection and real value. We see this product launch as a validation of our technology and we look forward to partnering with Lenovo as we roll out Lenovo Browser Guard across additional devices."

“Lenovo Browser Guard, powered by Perion technology, provides customers a worry free solution by doing two important things. First it avoids attempts from 3d party software to change the default browser and search settings. Second it blocks attempts to install products that harm device performance,” said David Cree, Director, Software and Content Services, Lenovo. “This solution gives customers another layer of protection as they browse and shop online.”
