PERROT DUVAL GROUP SEES A SALES INCREASE OF 7 PER CENT

Automation specialist the Perrot Duval Group (Perrot Duval Holding S.A.) generated sales of 49.5 million CHF for the 2017/18 financial year (ended on 30 April 2018), while,

as announced on 5 March 2018, the Group's profit after taxes reached 0.7 million CHF

(1.5 million CHF as at 30 April 2017, including 0.6 million CHF from the sale of a minority stake).

Thanks to the dynamic drive of its Infranor Division, which specialises in the robotisation of machinery, and the Cybelec Division, a provider of complete solutions in selected niche markets, in particular manufacturers of machinery for sheet-metal bending, the Perrot Duval Group enjoyed an increase in sales of nearly 7 per cent with sales of 49.5 million CHF compared to 46.4 million CHF as at 30 April 2017.

However, the Füll Division, which specialises in designing and manufacturing fully automated standard and customised dispensing and storage systems for liquids and pastes, suffered a major postponement of orders to the financial year 2018/19, causing its sales to fall in the year under review, and costs of restructuring were higher than expected.

Furthermore, in the 2016/17 financial year, Perrot Duval Holding S.A. generated 0.6 million CHF profit from the sale of its minority stake in Belwag Ltd., in Bern, which mainly focuses on distributing and servicing motor vehicles.

The company will provide final figures and detailed information on the 2017/18 financial year as well as its comments on current business performance together with the presentation of its balance sheet on 23 August 2018.
