Calgary, Alberta - April 16, 2012 - PetroBakken Energy Ltd.
("PetroBakken") (TSX:PBN) is pleased to announce that our
cash dividend for the month of April will be paid on May 15,
2012 to all PetroBakken shareholders of record on April 30,
2012. The April dividend will be $0.08 per PetroBakken share.
The ex-dividend date is April 26, 2012.

(" DRIP ") that
provides a convenient and cost-effective method for eligible
shareholders to increase their investment in PetroBakken by
reinvesting their monthly cash dividend to acquire additional
