Petroquimica Comodoro Rivadavia SA (PCR) is an Argentina-based company engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the energy and construction sectors. The Company's operations are divided into two main areas: the production and distribution of construction materials, such as Portland cement, concrete stone blocks, pavers, mortars and adhesives, and the exploration and production of oil. Its energy division is active in the exploitation of the oilfields El Medanito and El Sosneado in Argentina, as well as Palanda Yuca Sur and Pindo in Ecuador. In addition, the Company provides transport, handling and storage services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Petroriva SA, Petromix SA, PCR Cayman, Surpat SA, Trading Patagonia SA, Cemenriva SA and PCR Logistica SA.
