Peugeot : creates business unit dedicated to electric vehicles

Madrid, Apr. 5 (EFE).- Peugeot SA (UG.FR) said Thursday it is creating a business unit dedicated to electric vehicles, according to a report from the Dow Jones Newswires made available to EFE.

The French car maker said the creation of the Low Emission Vehicles business unit is a step toward the group's aim of developing an electric offering covering its entire range by 2025, with implementation starting in 2019.

Peugeot said that Alexandre Guignard has been appointed senior vice president of the business unit.
