Singh oversees all aspects of PG&E’s integrity management practices for one of the largest natural gas systems in the nation. He also leads efforts to research, test and deploy some of the most advanced safety technologies available to pipeline operators. In May 2014, PG&E’s Gas Operations became one of the first companies in the world to achieve two prestigious safety and asset management certifications: International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 55001: 2014 and Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 55-1: 2008.

Singh joined PG&E in 2000 and has held numerous leadership positions within the company, most recently as vice president of Asset and Risk Management within PG&E’s Gas Operations. His appointment made him one of the youngest vice presidents in PG&E history. In addition to natural gas, Singh’s PG&E experience includes finance and renewable energy.

“Sumeet’s leadership and vision have been integral to the progress PG&E has made on improving the safety and reliability of our natural gas system in the last three years. We are proud that Sumeet has earned this prestigious honor and we congratulate all 40 honorees,” said Nick Stavropoulos, executive vice president of PG&E’s Gas Operations.
