PHAROL, SGPS S.A. PHAROL, SGPS S.A. ('PHAROL') hereby informs that NOVO BANCO S.A. ('NOVO BANCO'), now holds 9.56% of the share capital of PHAROL.
On 5 July 2016 NOVO BANCO sold 26,895,375 ordinary shares representing approximately 3.0% of the share capital and voting rights of PHAROL in an over-the-counter transaction and at an unit price of EUR 0.17.
As a result of the above-mentioned sale, NOVO BANCO now holds 85,665,125 ordinary shares, representing approximately 9.56% of the share capital and voting rights of PHAROL.
This announcement is made pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 16 of the Portuguese Securities Code and 2 of the Portuguese Securities Commission Regulation no. 5/2008.
This announcement is also made pursuant to and for the purposes of article 248-B of the Portuguese Securities Code and article 14 of the Portuguese Securities Commission Regulation no. 5/2008 taking into account the existence of common Board Members in NOVO BANCO and PHAROL.
