Eindhoven, the Netherlands - Royal Philips Electronics

renowned iF awards for material, packaging and product
communications design. This year it's for the first time
that the iF juries in the areas of material, packaging and
product communications design came together to choose
designs that they consider excellent design and can carry
an iF design award.

iF design awards
As "seal of good design", known throughout the
global world of design and beyond, the iF product design
award honors outstanding achievements in design. An
internationally renowned jury, consisting of 44 design
experts, have engaged in a critical discussion and debate
to select the winning products. Out of 4,322 entries
submitted by 1,605 participants from 48 countries, the jury
of the iF product design award has selected their 1218
favorites as the best designs for 2012.
All prize-winning products will be presented at the iF
design exhibition in Hanover, Germany from March 6 until
the 10th, 2012 and in Hamburg the second half of 2012. On
February 10, 2012 the awards ceremony will take place in
Munich, Germany where the 100 Gold Award Winners will be
