Arizona Public Service Co. (APS) issued today an “all source” request for proposals (RFP) seeking capacity resources to help meet its customers’ peak energy needs.

APS is seeking approximately 400-600 megawatts (MW) of capacity. This RFP is open to all technologies, including supply side and non-supply side resources. Proposed projects must be able to begin delivery no later than June 1, 2020. The entire RFP process will be monitored and reviewed by a third-party independent monitor.

The RFP, together with important information about proposal requirements and bidder registration, is now available online at www.aps.com/rfp.
