Piraeus Bank, in collaboration with "Georgoudis S.A.", has initiated a new Contract Farming programme for olive producers in the Prefecture of Etoloakarnania.

This funding proposal for contract farming in the field of "Kalamon" variety table olives refers to an integrated product management system and is essentially intended to help rationalise production organisation and financially support the entire production process, from the producer to product processing and selling by the said company.

"Georgoudis S.A." is located in Volos Industrial Estate B and is active in the field of olive standardisation, trading and exports.

A company established in 1897, Georgoudis S.A. offers the highest quality and most effective service in very competitive prices to its customers in more than 30 countries throughout the world.

The company's long experience, combined with careful selection and traditional preparation of products, the utilisation of modern technology and strict quality controls, guarantee top-quality olives that have a unique taste.

Through the specific Piraeus Bank Contract Farming programme, the producer is provided with all the required liquidity at highly competitive terms, exactly when he needs such liquidity, while payment of the production agreed to be delivered to the company is guaranteed.

The Program covers the entire agricultural production, supply and manufacturing chain by supporting, in an organised manner, the mutually beneficial collaboration between producers and companies.

This new collaboration brings the number of Contract Farming and Livestock Breeding agreements to a total of 22, attesting the firm will of Piraeus Bank to support and encourage any sound productive effort in the economy.
