PLASMAtech Inc. supplies surface treatment services and equipment based on low pressure microwave plasma and parylene coating technology. The Company provides plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) coating and surface treatment applications. It also offers plasma and parylene equipment, as well as contract services and process research and development in its good manufacturing practices (GMP)-compliant facility. Its contract services include cleaning, surface treatment and coatings. Plasma cleaning is used in cleaning ceramic components used in medical devices, removal of organic contamination on metals or polymers, cleaning medical implantable prior to coating and removing carbon residual after laser drilling. Surface treatment is used in treatment of balloon catheter components prior to coating or bonding, modification/functionalization of culture components for cell attachment, treatment/cleaning of ophthalmic lenses prior to coating and treatment of Webs and films.
