Plastivaloire Group reported another period of robust growth in the second quarter of financial year 2017-2018, with revenues up 7.9% in purely organic terms to €175.2 million. This performance stems from the ramp-up of the contracts recently entered into by the Motor Vehicle division, in particular those signed with Tier 1 premium manufacturers, and from strong sales volumes in the other business sectors.

Growth remained consistent overall for both the Motor Vehicle and Industries (parts and tooling) divisions, with each sector contributing 82.6% and 17.4% to revenues respectively. Tooling was particularly strong in both sectors, with a year-on-year increase of over 20% in invoicing, further improving visibility on the order books for the coming years.

First-half revenue subsequently also climbed 9.4% to €340.4 million, with all geographic areas globally faring well. Activity in France continued to hold up well, with a year-on-year improvement in production values at almost all production sites. Outside France, Germany, Romania and Tunisia were the top performers.

Plastivaloire's first-half performance is consistent with Group ambitions. Plastivaloire Group has confirmed its revenue target, which was revised in February to between €660 million and €670 million, for an annual EBITDA margin of around 12.5%.
