Polimetal OAO : Polymetal’s shares to be transferred to MICEX Quotation List B

Saint-Petersburg, Russia, December 9, 2011 - JSC "Polymetal" (LSE, MICEX, RTS: PMTL) ("Polymetal" or the "Company") has received a notification from CJSC "MICEX Stock Exchange" ("MICEX") that the Company's ordinary registered uncertificated shares (state registration number 1-02-00412-D) will be transferred from quotation list A, first level, to quotation list B.

This decision was made by MICEX because of the Company's free-float decreasing below 25%, which resulted from the Institutional Share Swap Facility completed on November 2, 2011.
