Portland, Ore. - Portland General Electric (NYSE: POR) today announced the appointment of Anne Mersereau as PGE's new vice president of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion. In this role, Mersereau oversees PGE's efforts to develop, attract and retain a diverse and engaged workforce.

Her dedication and passion for developing an engaged and valued workforce will help us continue to build a successful, sustainable organization well into the future,' said Jim Piro, PGE's president and CEO.

Mersereau joined PGE in 2009 as an HR Business Partner and most recently served as HR Employee Services manager, leading HR Operations. Prior to PGE, Mersereau held leadership positions with such organizations as Hilton Hotels Corporation and Marsh USA. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management and human resources from Washington State University.

An active member of the community, Mersereau is vice chair for both Impact NW and YWCA, nonprofits active in the Portland area in providing educational and social services.
