Primoris Services Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: PRIM) (“Primoris” or “Company”) today announced a new heavy civil award valued over $23 million. The contract was secured by the Primoris James Construction Group, part of the East Construction Services segment. Work is scheduled to commence on the project in the third quarter of 2014 and to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016.

  • The project was awarded by the Texas Department of Transportation and is located in Brazos County, Texas.
  • The project is for the realignment of SH105, including the construction of three bridges over the Brazos River.
  • The scope of work includes over 564,000 cubic yards of compacted embankment, 101,000 cubic yards of excavation, 2.0 million pounds of steel girders, and 136,000 square feet of bridge deck.
