PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, today announced that housing association, Grwp Gwalia, has implemented PROACTIS Purchase-to-Payto streamline the purchasing processing and gain greater control and visibility of spend.

Grwp Gwalia is a provider of housing and care services in south and mid Wales with a turnover of over £64m. The organization employs around 1,500 staff across the business and manages over 10,300 units of accommodation and over 2,700 units of care. PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay was selected on a 5-year subscription deal to replace the association's incumbent Ariba system.

The PROACTIS eProcurement system automates the purchase-to-pay process; ensuring compliance with corporate policies, avoiding unnecessary/inappropriate purchases, and provides full visibility of the cost pipeline. The implementation for Grwp Gwalia includes punch-out to the xchangewales trading hub - an online service that allows public sector buyers to view and order goods and services through a wide range of electronic catalogs. PROACTIS is also integrated to the association's Infor SunSystems financial management system and InVu document management system, to provide improved invoice processing efficiency by automating invoice receipting and matching.
