Progress Software Names Industry Veteran Stephen McNulty Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan

New leader to strengthen company's regional presence with a focus on Big Data, Cloud and Mobile technologies

Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), a global software company that simplifies and enables the development, deployment and management of business applications, today announced the appointment of veteran software executive Stephen McNulty as Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). With over 20 years of sales, channel and service experience in the region, McNulty will lead Progress Software's business and operations in APJ, with a primary focus on growing the company's network of channel partners and customers.

Based in Singapore, McNulty joins Progress from JDA Software, where he most recently served as President of Asia Pacific. He also has prior long-term experience with Oracle and Baan in Asia Pacific, managing teams across key markets in South and Southeast Asia. He has over two decades of experience working in Asia Pacific and has an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland.
